I just recently had the privilege of training teachers and administration at the Loveland Reformed Protestant Christian School, in Loveland, Colorado. We did dyslexia awareness, spotting it in writing, spelling, and reading samples. We did dyslexia simulation stations to simulate what students go through when they are attempting the tasks of reading, writing, spelling, and focusing at the task.
“We are a private K-12 Christian school. We have a few kids with dyslexia, and one will enter high school this year. Sue came to our school to give all the teachers a presentation on dyslexia. All I can say is “Wow”. Her presentation was so informative and helpful in understanding dyslexia and the struggles that come with it. Sue made her presentation very interactive as well. Although there is so much information, Sue never made it boring! We are so thankful that Sue is here in the Northern Colorado area to give us the tools we as a school need to help those kids who are struggling with dyslexia."

We have had an interesting summer here. We started off remotely, but have eased back in for those who were interested in going back to in person. We maintain social distancing, work in private rooms with the children and take precautions.
For some children, online is ideal and for others, in person is the way to go. We are thankful we can offer both of those choices for our parents.
For those of you who didn't know, our building was sold and is undergoing renovations. We do not yet know what the year holds with regards to that, but trusting that it will all work out. I will keep you posted.
With the Covid, our donations dropped and Walmart monies were denied. So with the timing of the building sold, the janitor left, and it gave me an opportunity to clean the upper floor. The money given to me for this job pays for one of the rooms we rent, which is our new math center. I am so thankful that parents have stepped up to help me clean weekly. Such a blessing to have such amazing people who care so much. Here is a picture of our math center.
We have started providing services for writing as well as reading, spelling, and math. This is an amazing system. We use IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing).
We are offering our space to homeschooling families who are struggling to transition to remote tutoring or have decided to teach at home. You are welcome to reach out to me at (970-405-4967)
I am forever grateful for you for your prayers, donations, and support. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
